FDC: Hello Mr X-Method, It's a Honor be with you this night, talking about your band, your álbum, songs and your visit to latin america exactly to Peru. First of all talk us about your band who are X-Method, where was born this amazing band, and all the details that you can give us.
Sp: Hola Sr. X-Method, es un honor estar con ustedes esta noche, hablando acerca de su banda, su álbum, canciones y su visita a Latinoamérica exactamenta a Perú. Primero que todo hablenos sobre su banda, quién son X-Method, dónde nació esta maravillosa banda y todos los detalles que nos puedan dar
Abby: Good to be here bro, we are a Bay Area California based metal band, we have Tony on lead guitar,Markus on rhythm guitar,Larry on bass,Dave on drums and me Abby on lead vocals. when I 1st started the band it was just myself and Tony,its been a few years of hard work to get it where it is now a few minor,and i mean real minor irrelevant personnel changes but other than that the train is moving forward at a good pace. we just played shows with legends like M.O.D. Hatriot ft Steve Zetro of Exodus,Incite which features Max Cavaleras son,a kick ass band from Hungary called Ektomorf, way to many to put down everyone,all in all a bunch of great bands
Sp: Que bueno por estar aquí hermano, somos una banda de metal Bay Area - California, tenemos a Tony en la guitarra líder, Markus en la guitarra rítmica, Larry en el bajo, Dave en la batería y yo Abby como vocalista líder. Cuando comencé por primera vez en la banda solo éramos Tony y yo, fueron unos cuantos años de trabajo fuerte para llegar aquí, puede ser de menor importancia, quiero decir con unos cambios menores irrelevantes en el personal, pero el tren se está moviendo hacia adelante y en buena forma. Acabamos de tener shows con leyendas como M.O.D. Hatriot ft Steve Zero of Exodus, Incite los cuales contaron con la participación del hijo de Max Cavalera, una banda patea traseros de Hungría llamada EKtomorf que va en camino para dejar a trás a todos; en general con muchas grandes bandas.
FDC: Well, Which are your music-influenes and why thrash metal, why not other kind of sub-genre into metal music.?
Sp: Bueno, Cuáles son sus influencias musicales y por qué Thrash Metal, Por qué no otra clase de sub-género dentro de la Música Metal?
Abby: Why thrash? Big question, because I am old school,I grew up on real metal not this poseur crap they call metal now, my influences are real metal bands like Slayer, Destruction, Possessed, Kreator, Original Sepultura, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Saxon, Deep Purple, the list can go on forever.. I have a lot of rock influences as well
Sp: Por qué Thrash? Buena pregunta, porque soy de vieja escuela, crecí con el Metal de verdad no ese posuda basura que llaman metal hoy, mis influencias son bandas de metal de verdad como Slayer, Destruction, Possessed, Kreator, Sepultura (Formación Original), Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Saxon, Deep Purple, la lista puede continuar y ser larga, tengo muchas bandas de rock que me influencian.
FDC: Tell us about your new Album
Sp: Hablenos sobre su nuevo álubm.
Abby: The new cd is called Sex, Alcohol, Rebel Music and its pretty self explanatory, I write about things I see in the world that piss me off, so I spit venom and put it in a song to get it off my chest as opposed to fucking someone up,its my healthy way of dealing with anger,but I am not pissed all the time, I have my party fun side as well, it's all in the music and lyrics, and we love the ladies so there it is in a nut shell
Sp: El nuevo cd se llama Sex, Alcohol, Rebel Music y se explica por sí mismo, yo escribo acerca de cosas que veo en el mundo y que me molestan, así que escupo veneno y lo pongo en una canción para sacarlo de mi pecho en lugar de molestar a alguien, es mi terapia para lidiar con mi rabia, pero no estoy molesto todo el tiempo, tengo mi lado alegre como todos, todo está en la música y sus letras, y amamos las mujeres. En pocas palabras.
FDC: Excellent, well what inspires your songs, you know for example in your recently video clip
Sp: Excelente, bueno qué inspira sus canciones, tu sabes por ejemplo en tu más reciente video clip
Abby: All my music is inspired by real life experience or people around me, our video Suicide girl/cutter is a true story about a friend I knew that cut herself all the time and sent me pictures of it, I wrote the song, read her the lyrics and I dont know if I cured her but hey she does not send me pictures anymore
Sp: Toda mi música está inspirada por la experiencia en la vida real o la gente que me rodea, nuestro vídeo: Sucide girl/cutter es una historia de la vida real acerca de una amiga que conocí la cual se cortaba y todo el tiempo me enviaba fotografías. Escribí la canción, le leí la letra y no sé si la curé pero Hey! Ella no me envió fotos nunca más.
FDC: Will you visit only Peru, or other Latin America countries this time?
Sp: Visitarán solo Perú u otros países de Latinoamérica esta vez?
Abby: So far just Peru, our dream is to play all of South America especially Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Argentina and Venezuela, if we got offers while we are in South America we will jump on it....We have been invited to Bogothrash 2016 so hopefully all goes well and we see you in your beautiful pais hermano
Sp: Más allá de Perú, nuestro sueño es tocar en toda Sur América especialmente Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Perú, Argentina y Venezuela, si tenemos ofertas mientras estamos en Sur América las tomaremos. Hemos sido invitados al Bogothrash 2016 muy entusiasmado de que todo salga bien y vernos en tu hermoso país hermano.
FDC: Which are your expectatives in Latin America tour?
Sp: Cuáles son sus expectativas en su Tour por Latinoamérica?
Abby: We expect to tear the house down in Latin America, you guys are some of the metal best fans on the planet.
Sp: Esperamos tirar la casa abajo (tirar la casa por la ventana) en Latinoamérica, ustedes muchachos son unos de los mejores fans del Metal en el Planeta.
FDC: What is next for te band?
Sp: Qué sigue para la banda?
